Can the system use QR, RFID and barcodes?+
Yes. School Portal supports QR, RFID and barcode credential workflows, with school-controlled credential status and scanner behavior.
What happens if the internet connection goes down?+
The hybrid/offline scanner can queue supported attendance scans locally and synchronize them when connectivity returns. Communication is not falsely shown as delivered while the scan is still offline.
Do parents need a separate mobile app?+
The Parent Portal can operate as an installable PWA on supported mobile browsers, so schools can provide an app-like experience without maintaining separate Android and iOS codebases.
Can each school have its own portal and branding?+
Yes. Each tenant school uses its own school-scoped portal context and can maintain school-specific branding, settings, users and records.
Can notification rules be changed per school?+
Yes. School administrators can control event-by-event In-App, email and SMS rules, including mandatory safety notifications and parent-optional preferences.
Is the platform only for attendance?+
No. Attendance is a core workflow, but the platform also includes parent and teacher portals, announcements, reporting, credential management, support tools, school website/CMS capabilities and multi-school administration.
